It all begins with a design and concept phase of the set-up with paper, pen and the best tool that the human being has: the brain.
The design of an outfitting, for example to integrate a roll-off tank on a truck or to attach a snow blade to a bulldozer, typically begins with a hypothesis of a 2D technical drawing of the project already accompanied by documents relating to the actual implementation.
Using 3D CAD design software allows us to concretely explore design ideas, visualize concepts and simulate equipment operation in the real world.
We can design the different components of a machine, choose the materials to sell them interact and verify their functionality before the project is sent to production.
STRUCTURAL CALCULATIONS AND FEM ANALYSIS
For finite element analysis (FEM) we use a series of software tools that allow us to carry out engineering simulations. These instruments reproduce a real test bench, where the mechanical piece we are going to design can undergo static or dynamic stresses, or it can deform or even undergo a temperature variation.
This translates into a reduction in the number of physical prototypes made, reducing time and costs. Some FEM operations:
Thanks to new design and production technologies, we guarantee a rapid response even to requests for new customized fittings. What if the equipment is still suitable while the vehicle has completed its life cycle? Then we plan interventions for the transfer of equipment or tanks of different types from one vehicle to another, after careful planning. The final test is essential to close the procedure.
Among the interventions most requested by customers, there is the solution with a roll-off waste collection equipment and lifters.
We are able to install and test salt spreading equipment on different types of vehicles.

In this example, at the request of the customer Tecam has developed an integrated solution on a commercial truck in which a tilting tank has been installed coupled with the use of a leaf vacuuming system.
